Zack Niemeyer | Principal & Founder

Zack Niemeyer is an HVAC sales professional and the founder of Velocity Thermal Systems. With over a decade of specialized experience in the Arizona commercial HVAC market, Zack has built a reputation for combining technical engineering expertise with an engaging, client-first approach to mechanical system design and procurement.

After graduating from Arizona State University with a BSME degree and also completing the prestigious Trane Graduate Training Program (GTP 2016-1), Zack spent the foundational years of his career mastering the complexities of system design and equipment application. His subsequent tenure at Varitec Solutions further honed his ability to navigate large-scale commercial projects, eventually leading to the launch of Velocity Thermal Systems in 2026.

Zack founded Velocity with a clear mandate: to provide the Southwest’s engineering and contracting communities with a more agile, data-driven representative partner. By leveraging the latest application tools and design strategies, combined with exclusive partnerships with industry-leading manufacturers, he ensures every project benefits from both high-performance equipment and seamless operational execution.

A native of the industry, Zack grew up around the mechanical trades, giving him a grounded, practical perspective on the challenges faced by contractors in the field. This unique blend of "boots-on-the-ground" insight and sophisticated engineering knowledge allows him to bridge the gap between complex design intent and successful project completion.

Outside of his professional work, Zack enjoys working on automotive restoration and motorsports projects, fitness, and traveling. He currently resides in Peoria, Arizona with his wife and two children.
